Washington Monument at Dusk

There are probably other monuments to GW, but what other one has been commemorated in Peep form? I took this coming out of the Natural History Museum, and if you look closely, you can see a plane flying by to the left of the monument. The capstone of the monument is a solid piece of aluminum, bought a few years before the Haber process made the making of aluminum economically viable. In other words, Uncle Sam inadvertently dropped the ball.
