The Origin of Species and Darwin's Black Box

When worlds collide. For those in the know, Darwin's Origin of the Species makes a strong case for evolution, whereas Darwin's Black Box (received as a gift) makes a specious case for intelligent design, aka the anti-evolution. I thought I was pretty clever putting these two next to each other on the book shelf. Maybe I am not as clever as I thought.

The Grapes of Wrath

If you think you have problems, trying reading this book and understand what true problems are. I was a big kick in college to read the Modern Library's top 100 novels (all except for that bullshit "experimental" Ulysses book and not the reader's list, though I do love me some Ayn Rand). This is the one that has stuck with me the most, though I would estimate I only read about 20 of the 100.
