Anyone who says that they are more excited for his or her kids to experience Christmas morning is a hypocrite. Nothing beats the anticipation if you are child who celebrates Christmas; nothing.

Charlie Brown Christmas Tree
Almost forty years, and nothing has surpassed A Charlie Brown Christmas. With just the right mixture of faith, hope and Charlie Browniness, I've enjoyed watching with my kids as I used to watch with my parents; and now one of them has a reproduction of the tree. Ironically, it is a plastic tree sold for a few bucks that is the antithesis of the show in terms of commercialization. I'll let it slide. The reading by Linus is not unlike Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction (though a little less violent). Let us all have faith and hope that we can see that the tree represents Charlie Brown and what he can become.
Ceramic Christmas Tree
As any petulant teenager, I was pretty sure I had about a hundred other better things to do than help unpack the holiday decorations from the attic. In my haste to get the project done, I dropped the box with my mother's heirloom ceramic light up Christmas tree, shattering it into many pieces. I've never gotten over it, though I like to think it made me a better person. Luckily, the spouse had a white one handed down to her (my mom's was green). This one I will try not to break.

Christmas Tree Star
Well, you've got electricity up there already in those lights, why not add a star that actually lights up and can properly attach to the tree. This star is so good, we keep getting wise men showing up at the door asking if they can put the gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Seriously though, I told them if they don't have booze for a man about to have a baby, to just keep on walking.

Christmas Lights on House
Tastefully done. Though that sign in the left hand side says "Happy Birthday." Perhaps they are referring to Jesus. I heard someone asking their toddler on day in mid-December who's birthday was next, and damn if that kid didn't knock it out of the park and say "Jesus." Give that kid an extra present this year, not that this is what Christmas is all about.
Rudolph Car Decorations
The effort is there; the execution is lacking. Gives a whole new meaning to Grandma got run over by a reindeer, a song I never understood when I was younger. Our local radio station that plays Christmas music 24/7 starting right before Thanksgiving hasn't played this song, or any good holiday song for that matter. I never thought I would miss "Christmas Shoes" that much, but I need a good cry. I also need the pick me up that is the "Snoopy's Christmas" or aka Snoopy versus the Red Baron. Instead, they have been playing the same 10 songs over and over again. If I hear Happy Holiday one more time...

Scented Advent Candle
One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?
