Space Shuttle on 747 Can Model

This was by far the best model made from cans at the building museum.

Helicopter Above Residential Neighborhood

Assuming for a second that aliens do not exist (hostile aliens, at least), then a police helicopter hovering over your neighborhood is never a good sign. This picture is made even worse by the recent fire in the house shown at the left that required a few boarded up windows. Not seen is this is the monthly bulk pick-up day for garbage, meaning that there is typically trash strewn everywhere. Win!

Airplane/Flight Museum

I really didn't like that movie Pushing Tin. Not because of the subject matter or Billy Bob or John Cusack, but because of my most hated song of all time, the one shit wonder by the New Radicals, "You Get What You Give." Maybe the happiest day in my non-family life was when I found out that group had broken up. I've hated songs before that, and many after that. However, none of those did I ever despise with that kind of passion.

Space Shuttle Replica

This is a little late because it has now been replaced by a real space shuttle. I was hoping that when there was a real shuttle, that people would be able to "get on board" but that appears to not be the case. When I was a kid, I got to go on a WWII submarine and walk around, getting into the bunks, hitting the fire torpedo button, etc. This left a lasting impression that can't be replaced by simply looking at the outside. Really, does it matter if the space shuttle is a replica or the real thing if you only get to see the cover? Heck, they even took out the heart of the real one by removing her engines. I am gonna go watch Space Camp now.

Airplane Halo

Dusty Bottoms: "What is it doing here?" Ned Nederlander: "I think it's a mail plane." Dusty Bottoms: "How can you tell?" Ned Nederlander: "Didn't you notice its little balls?" - The Three Amigos
